Registered Manager – Residential Care Home
Location: Near Newton Abbot, Devon
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up and lead a residential care home near Newton Abbot.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident leader who can maintain high standards of person-centred care, ensure CQC compliance and drive service improvement. Previous experience turning around a care home or improving quality and performance would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, motivate and develop the staff team.
• Maintain CQC standards, quality assurance, safeguarding and care planning.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
• Identify opportunities to improve care quality, staff performance and overall service delivery.
About You
• Experience as a Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to progress.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Ideally, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or equivalent.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Turnaround or service improvement experience would be highly desirable.
